Aaron Liu
CEO & President
Here is a quick, professional bio for Aaron Liu:
Aaron Liu is the Founder and CEO of Builtech Construction Group, a California-based construction firm specializing in resilient, sustainable, and non-combustible building solutions. With over a decade of industry experience, Liu has managed a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from museums and medical offices to custom, ground-up homes.
A recognized expert in structural safety and disaster resilience, Liu is an NFPA-Certified Wildfire Mitigation Specialist (CWMS). He holds numerous industry credentials, including General Engineering A, General B, and C-8 contractor licenses, as well as certifications as a Residential Building Inspector and a Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector.
Driven by the growing threat of wildfires and earthquakes in California, Liu has dedicated his company’s focus to reimagining how homes are built by eliminating combustible "fuel" from the architectural equation. Under his leadership, Builtech made history in early 2024 by breaking ground on the first onsite 3D-printed, fire-resistant concrete Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) in the United States, located in Walnut, California. More recently, in 2026, Builtech constructed San Jose's first ADU built to Type 1A standards—the highest fire-resistance classification—using an advanced Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) system.
Today, Liu is frequently sought after as a thought leader in wildfire defense, home hardening, and innovative construction technology. Through Builtech Construction Group, he continues to champion a non-combustible future for California real estate, helping families safely rebuild and protecting communities against future disasters.
